Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Manufacturing Division. The primary responsibility of the BDR is to identify, qualify, and nurture leads while setting high-value meetings for the sales team to advance opportunities in the sales cycle. This role is critical in connecting with potential customers, understanding their challenges, and presenting our tailored solutions in automation, design software, and data management. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Proactively identify prospective customers through outbound campaigns, ABM strategies, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and interest in solutions like DriveWorks and SolidWorks systems.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality opportunities for the sales team.
Outreach & Engagement:
- Initiate meaningful conversations with engineering managers, manufacturing leads, and key decision-makers.
- Utilize phone, email, and social selling tools to effectively communicate value propositions and discover customer pain points.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with the sales team for qualified leads.
- Share market insights and customer feedback to refine messaging and campaigns.
- Partner with marketing to align on ICPs, ABM tactics, and campaign performance.
CRM & Reporting:
- Accurately document all interactions, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on lead conversion rates, outreach efforts, and sales pipeline contributions.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Prior experience in customer service, telemarketing, or sales is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo is a plus.
• Comfortable with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and X for prospecting and outreach activities.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
